Bare, private, first class, entered into service Nov 16, 1917, medical department, 317th Infantry. 80th division; transferred to 320th Infantry, served 12 months and 4 days in France and was honorably discharged at Camp Dix, NJ, Jun 9, 1919. He is a grandson of William R. Wilbourn, private Co. 1, 4th Virginia Infantry, who was captured near Petersburg, imprisoned at Point Lookout, MD., and was released Jun 19, 1865 o Walter Bingham, private first class, entered into service Jul 30, 1917, U.S. Marine Corps, received training at Paris Island and at Navy Yard in WashDC. Was honorably discharged Mar 8, 1919 having served 19 months and 8 days. He is the grandson of Christopher F.
